The predominant color in this image is blue. This makes sense because the image is about water. Blue is really the only color used in the composition. I would have liked to see more colors used or only color the images you want the viewer to first. Either technique would have added to a more interesting composition.
How effectively was the concept of “green-ness” explored? Do you think that this student used the elements of value, texture and color effectively to enhance the concept, how did the branding of the song interplay if at all?
The faucet with the wine barrel and the words reuse and recycle are both effective uses to bring across the “green-ness” concept as well as the water in the background and the water bottle and faucet running into the barrel. I think that value was used effectively although I too would have liked to see more variation of colors. The texture of the background and the wording I think was effective as well as the look of the wine barrel but the images of the faucet, hand with bottle and plants seem to be a bit flat.
